Ankus was a planet in the Outer Rim, grid D-19, close to the Unknown Regions' southern border. The world was part of the Vast Empire in 12 ABY, and became part of Stan's Galactic Empire later, from 139 ABY to 159 ABY. In this region of space, Stan and his forces sought refuge when Daara Zend took over the Empire in 159 ABY. The planet was in a region close to the Bespin system and the Yeda Republic.
