PSI Flash (known as PK Flash in MOTHER3) is a PSI ability in EarthBound and Mother 3. In battle, it targets all enemies, and may cause them to suffer from crying, numbness, feeling strange or becoming unconscious, depending on the power level. PSI Flash is realized in EarthBound by Ness, and in Mother3 by Lucas, where, just like PK Love, it is learned not through level-up, but through an event. Surprisingly, it is possible to use PSI Flash to instantly defeat strong enemies, such as Ness' Nightmare in EarthBound and the King Statue in Mother 3, albeit with a low success rate. PSI Flash serves as the successor move to both PK Beam and PSI Darkness from EarthBound Beginnings.
