Hive Reactor Access is a room in Ing Hive from Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. In the middle of the room is a platform with a Light Beacon and a swarm of Nightbarbs surrounding it. Along the outer edge is another platform that encircles the room. When the Beacon is activated, the light kills any Nightbarb that comes in contact with it, granting safe passage across the chasm. The Aetherian version of this room is Reactor Access.
