The Calgary Mustangs are a junior A ice hockey team in the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL). They play in Calgary, Alberta, Canada at the Father David Bauer Olympic Arena, capacity 1800. They were known as the Calgary Royals from 1990 until 2010. The earliest version won the Calgary Junior B League in 1940-41, They then (as a junior A team) entered the Alberta Junior Playoffs' in 1941-42, 1942-43 Alberta Junior Playoffs, and 1945-46 Alberta Junior Playoffs - each time as an indepedent (non-league) team.
