Gustavo Dudamel (b. 1981) is the conductor of the LA Philharmonic, the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra, and the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela, concurrently. He appears in Sesame Street Season 42, demonstrating the word "stupendous" with Elmo, in a "Word of the Day" segment. He taped his scene in Los Angeles in 2011.
