Tanya and Matt are the former tritagonists of Shining Time Station. They are two kids who are fond of the station. Their closest friend is Mr. Conductor, who tells them about Thomas the Tank Engine. In the middle of Season 2, they leave for good, replaced by Becky, Dan and Kara.
