The garment, exotic even by Faerie standards, is said to owe it's style to some foriegn influence. Since Temuair had long been sealed away from the rest of the world it was impossible to verify the origin of such a fashion, though with the discovery of Medenia it has been found that those living in the arid deserts wear similar clothing. It's now believed that an ancient traveller from Medenia spent time amongst the Faeries where they learned the style of his dress.
