The Trek was an unfilmed story for an episode of the Planet of the Apes TV series, written by Jim Byrnes. The story concerns Galen, Virdon and Burke encountering a renegade human tribe. The tribe face extermination by the ape authorities until the trio agree to lead them on a trek through the Forbidden Zone to an area where they will be free.
