Ahmed was one of the Somali pirates working under Osman Xasan Muhamad during Rogue. Ahmed was among the 19 pirates who boarded the Barataria in order to take it over. He was the starboard side team leader, and once their presence was discovered on the ship Ahmed took his team to engage a group of Karl Rask's men who had come to the deck to protect the ship. Osman, who was observing from the pilothouse, radioed Ahmed to relay the position of the enemy to him. Ahmed use a stun grenade to confuse Rask's men before leading his team and killing them. Osman then ordered him to round up the rest of the prisoners.
