The Conductor's Cap was a hobby shop located Rome, Italian People's Republic in an alternate where the Soviet Union won the Cold War and the entire world became communist by the end of the twentieth century. Crosstime Traffic used The Conductor's Cap to try to infiltrate ideas of capitalism into this world. Similar shops were set up in Milan and San Marino. The Conductor's Cap was raided by the Security Police and shut down, but the Crosstime Traffic staff escaped back to the home timeline.
