Maud Elizabeth Jones (née Dickson; 6 April 1887 - 23 September 1997) was an American woman notable for her longevity. She was born in Yuma, Colorado on 6 April 1887 as the daughter of Matthew and Indiana Harmon Jones. She grew up in the area and married a man named Jess Nitzen in 1906. The couple moved to Washington, Colorado and had six children: Grace, John, Lloyd, Earn, Dan, and Judy.
