The small (pop. ∼8,000) blue-collar town prides itself on hometown values. The local school sports teams are named Kodiaks, and were the 1982 Basketball State Champions. The county has three coffee shops, two on the local highway for travelers, and The Donut Hole in town which is the local favourite.
