The Mech Defender is a machina enemy in Final Fantasy X. It is encountered on Mt. Gagazet. As with all machina enemies, using the Steal command will instantly defeat them. Mech Defender will drop armor with any of the SOS elemental defenses as well as SOS Protect, SOS Shell, or SOS Reflect. It will also drop weapons with any of the elemental strikes.
