The Grouch Jailer appears in The Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland. He first appears amongst the Grouch throng in "Welcome to Grouchland." Later, he guards Gordon, Zoe, and the other Sesame Street characters, following their arrest by the Grouch Cop, but like his fellow Grouches, is swayed by Oscar the Grouch's oratory into action against Huxley.
