Nethergarde Defenders were soldiers who served in Nethergarde Keep, an Alliance bastion in the contested Blasted Lands. It is unknown how many of them survived the invasion of the region by the Iron Horde and the subsequent sacking of the keep. The bodies of many of their number litter the remains of the fortress and captured survivors are allegedly being executed by members of the Iron Horde.
