The System Unity and Progress Party was the ruling party of the Mobius System in the 20th Century PD. Led by President Svein Lombroso, it had total control of the system for decades, crushing all resistance through the Mobius Presidential Guard, until the Star Kingdom of Manticore moved in and came to the assistance of the Mobius Liberation Front resistance movement in 1922 PD. Lombroso and the rest of the party leadership were wiped out when a kinetic strike destroyed the main government buildings in the capital city of Landing. (HH14)
