Lydia Sugarman (born 1960) is the widow of Dr. Don Sugarman, owner and founder of Sugarman Electronics, a large Miami-based business. Sugarman recently died and Lydia wanted to take over the business, but needs lots of money to do so, so she arranged a drug buy through Charlie Glide from a Peruvian national, Zabado. When Lydia was told by Glide's associate Max Rogo he was hooked up with the police, Lydia shot Zabado dead at their meeting, then was arrested trying to escape when the Vice cops raid the deal location.
