Dakkle was a male water rat in the army of the Marlfoxes. He along with Ascrod, Vannan and Beelu stole the tapestry of Martin the Warrior from Redwall Abbey. He later tried to set fire to the Abbey gates in a stealth attack along with Vannan, but was killed by an arrow, either by Rusvul Reguba or Janglur Swifteye.
