The genjutsu can be performed by eye contact alone. The main use of this genjutsu it to have the target believe their blood has been replaced with ravening maggots. This jutsu possesses a substantial amount of self inflicted wounds by the target, as the "maggots" can follow the blood stream through the body and appear anywhere. While under the genjutsu the target believes themselves grazed by an enemy or friendly shuriken.
