Gary Castillo is an engineer who started a business with a couple of friends in 2001. His company, "Design Craft Fabrication", started off as a couple of friends building cars in Gary's two-car garage condo. It has since grown into "full time operation" with a space of its own. Gary built The Walking Dead Hyundai Elantra based on Robert Kirkman's rendering. The car was built in order to celebrate the 100th issue and was revealed at the San-Diego Comic-Con in 2012. There, Gary and Robert unveiled it to the public for the first time.
