Nik'tak was a male Riileb food critic. He was on a panel of judges for a regional Durasteel Chef competition and gave Pepan Manja's dish a negative review. When Manja was later expelled from a culinary arts institute for grinding up a classmate's finger to use as seasoning, Nik'tak publicly made a comment about how diners at Calliandro's were spared from finding such surprise ingredients. A few days after his statement, Nik'tak disappeared. His remains were later discovered in a stew pot at Calliandro's. After a lengthy investigation into Nik'tak's death, along with a string of other disappearances, Manja was charged with his murder.
