Lyle Stelter is a former NASCAR driver from Phoenix, AZ. He competed in six Nextel Cup Series events in his career. Stelter's debut came in 1960, when he competed at Phoenix. Starting positions in the field of nineteen are unknown, but Steltler lost a fuel pump near halfway and finished 16th. He fared no better lated in the year at Hanford, finishing 24th. Stelter disappeared until 1963, making anoter two-start season. Both were respectable races for the driver, driving to a career-best 15th place finish at Tampa and nearly bettering that at Randleman before a late tire issue left him 19th.
