The marsh-gunnies were a species of small, non-sentient creatures native to Nim Drovis, a planet located in the Meridian sector of the Outer Rim Territories. They occupied the bayous, swamps and marshes of Nim Drovis. When the droids C-3PO and R2-D2 arrived on the planet along with the starship captain Bortrek, their landing pad was surrounded by swamps filled with marsh-gunnies, gulpers and green-eyed wadie-platts.
