In an alternate timeline, Lee was called to engineering to assist Miles O'Brien (filling in for the yet-to-arrive chief engineer), Fletcher, and Munoz in realigning the ship's power grid. (TNG: "All Good Things..." ) This character was only mentioned in dialogue. The novel The Light Fantastic calls him Albert Lee.
