Jaime Sommers, sometimes spelled Jamie Sommers, is a fictional character portrayed by Lindsay Wagner in The Bionic Woman and The Six Million Dollar Man. She was a former professional tennis star, a teacher of middle school students and an occasional agent of the Office of Strategic Intelligence. Through the use of cybernetic implants, known as bionics, she was gifted with extraordinary strength in one arm and both legs. She also had a bionic ear which allowed her to hear at low volumes, at different bandwidths to most humans, and over uncommonly long distances.
