Dewnogberries are large Zharan fungal shrubs with berries striped with orange and green bands. They are named after the Zharan city of Dewnog. The shrubs vary in size from 2 to 5 feet tall. The berry stalks are spade-shaped, dark green or red, sometimes tinged blueish, with 6 to 8 berries growing along the rims. The spore-fruit is a berry 0.5 to 0.7 inches in diameter with a set of spade-shaped "fins" along the equator; they are deep red at first, then pale red, and finally orange and green when ripe. They have a very sweet taste when mature and contain many nutrients.
