Puzzle Pirates Adventures were part of a long awaited extension to Yohoho! Puzzle Pirates. They combined the piratical and puzzle elements of the game with more adventure based gameplay. A test version of Adventures was released on June 12, 2008, following an announcement from Captain Cleaver [1]. The beta version was released for access by production ocean accounts in release 2008-06-18. It could run from within most web browsers without the need to install the full game client, and would download additional artwork as required.
