Pawn PAWN Pawn
rdfs:comment
Their usual tactic is to run up to the player and attack endlessly with whatever melee weapon it has on hand. Typically, they spawn at low levels and in groups with other chess pieces and can easily eliminate ill-prepared players. Otherwise, well-prepared and experienced players may find them more of a nuisance. Pawn was the title given to any of the handpicked agents of Cronal during his Restoration campaign against the New Republic. The Pawns were selected from among Force-sensitive prisoners taken by Cronal's raids. They were taken to the Election Center on Mindor, where crystals of meltmassif would be surgically implanted into the brain. These crystals would spread throughout the nervous system of the prisoner, which would facilitate Cronal's control over them through the Force. The transformation was completed with the attachment of a Shadow Crown to the patient's skull, which served as a control device that cemented the link between the Pawns and their master. The Crown would create a holographic mask over the wearer's face, depicting the visage of Lord Shadowspawn. Pawn were a short-lived visual kei band, formed in 2005 by ex-treize members. They disbanded after their last live in Ikebukuro CYBER on December 4, 2007. Not much is revealed about him, other than that he speaks in French and his Utromdroid body is shown to glitch easily. Pawns are Studious essences that appear in MySims. They can be found in the Chess Cave in the Forest, growing on trees. Shake the tree or fertilize the tree to obtain the essences. You can also get it from using a stage. The Pawn is a vanilla Minion Unit from the game of chess. It can move forward one tile, and can attack units in the upper-left and upper-right adjacent tiles. It has a cost of zero. PAWN is a seventh Allied mission in the Aftermath expansion. Chess piece carved from white birch. Only able to advance 1 square, it is traded for a stronger piece on reaching the far side. Very valuable at the end. If a pawn is on its starting row (it has not moved) it can move two spaces instead of one. If a pawn reaches the other side, it can change to any piece it wants, with the exception of a king or another pawn. This is known as promotion. A pawn can also perform En passant. In order to do this, a pawn must have just advanced two squares, placing it adjacent to a pawn of the opposite color that could have captured it, had it moved one square. The opposite-color pawn moves to the place it could have captured the pawn that just moved, and removes it from the board. A pawn was a game piece in the game of chess. Metaphorically speaking, to be considered a pawn in the hands of another was to be used against one's will to achieve a desired outcome, similar to being considered a puppet. A pawn is a form of security for a loan where the borrower gives up physical posession of a piece of personal property to the pawnbroker, who then holds the personal property until the loan is repaid. If the loan remains unpaid after a certain period of time (varies from place to place, but usually about 90 days), the pawnbroker may take title to the property. The pawnbroker may be held liable in conversion if the property is lost, stolen or destroyed during the period of the pawn.

n9:abstract
A pawn is a form of security for a loan where the borrower gives up physical posession of a piece of personal property to the pawnbroker, who then holds the personal property until the loan is repaid. If the loan remains unpaid after a certain period of time (varies from place to place, but usually about 90 days), the pawnbroker may take title to the property. The pawnbroker holds no better title to the property than the borrower held. As such, in many cases, the pawnbroker may not keep property that has been stolen. Most jurisdicitons require pawnbrokers to submit regular reports of property they have both taken in pawn and purchased, and to obtain contact information for all borrowers and sellers. However, a pawn usually holds better security than other secured creditors. The pawnbroker may be held liable in conversion if the property is lost, stolen or destroyed during the period of the pawn. Chess piece carved from white birch. Only able to advance 1 square, it is traded for a stronger piece on reaching the far side. Very valuable at the end. Not much is revealed about him, other than that he speaks in French and his Utromdroid body is shown to glitch easily. PAWN is a seventh Allied mission in the Aftermath expansion. The Pawn is a vanilla Minion Unit from the game of chess. It can move forward one tile, and can attack units in the upper-left and upper-right adjacent tiles. It has a cost of zero. Table of Contents: Quick Stat & Upgrades | Strategy (+/-) __TOC__ Pawns are Studious essences that appear in MySims. They can be found in the Chess Cave in the Forest, growing on trees. Shake the tree or fertilize the tree to obtain the essences. You can also get it from using a stage. Around the time of the Battle of Mindor, the Pawns served as the highest-ranking minions of Cronal, able to command his soldiers with simple hand gestures. Their true purpose, however, was more sinister. Cronal relied on them as vessels into which he could send his spirit, so that the Pawns were little more than living extensions of his will, as well as bodies for him to inhabit should his own body die or be destroyed. They were also essential to Cronal's plan to take control of Luke Skywalker, substituting the young Jedi's conscious mind with his own and building up his image as an heir to Palpatine to become the new Emperor. His plan failed, however, with the intervention by one of his own Pawns. Cronal was not the only Sorcerer of Rhand to employ Pawns. Other members of this order had the know-how, however they didn't have access to meltmassif and used Nihil smokestone instead. Pawn were a short-lived visual kei band, formed in 2005 by ex-treize members. They disbanded after their last live in Ikebukuro CYBER on December 4, 2007. In the writers' first draft script of ENT: "Dear Doctor", Doctor Phlox found a pawn in the stomach of Captain Archer's pet beagle, Porthos, the dog having recently eaten the pawn as Archer had been playing chess. The pawn was causing the dog some gastrointestinal distress. However, in the final version of the episode, Porthos suffers from gastrointestinal distress caused, instead, by cheese.
