Teresa Rothenberg, M.Sc., Ph.D is the former Governor-General of Greater Hulstria and a former Imperial Commissioner of the Eastern Territories. Rothenberg previously served as Chief Minister of Budenlar for more than three years. She began her political career in 2845 when she was elected Mayor of New Liore. She previously was a professor of economics and public policy at the University of New Liore and an urban development consultant to different crownland ministries. Born in 2800 in the Eastern Territories city of Moroni, she left in 2818 to attend the University of Graafsberg. While attending the school she met her future husband, and New Liore native, Hubert van Rumpade. Throughout her political and professional careers Rothenberg has maintained strong connections to civil society in Moroni; until his death in 2841 her father Oskar served in the Representative Assembly as a member from the Heinrich der Große Regierungsbezirk. As Imperial Commissioner she continued her practice of residing in Moroni during the summer months. After leaving office she established a student exchange program between local colleges and the University of New Liore. After retiring as Imperial Commissioner in 2865, she returned to the University of New Liore. She was a senior professor of public policy until becoming the institution's Chancellor in 2871. She is the second former Imperial Commissioner to head the university.
