Continuing from last issue, after busting former flame and previously convicted con-man, Barbara Gordon has come to the conclusion that she has not accomplishing anything as Batgirl and has just revealed her secret identity to her father to ask him to let her run for the position in congress that he is being pressured into running for. Telling Barbara that he already knew her secret identity and that he was proud of her, Commissioner Gordon lets her run for office. Soon her campaign gets the aid of Tad Higgens who sets out to collect campaign donations for her running. However, when the campaign funds are robbed, Barbara assumes her Batgirl guise once more, and deduces that Tad is behind the theft, she quickly confronts him, and turns him over to the police. Batman helps foolproof a way to transfer a Communist spy to his masters in an exchange, to prevent a right-wing group from assassinating the agent during the act. Reprinted from Big Town #15.
