Pip and Jane Baker
rdfs:comment
They also collaborated on the Target novelisations for their TV stories; Jane Baker became one of only four women to be credited with writing (or co-writing) Doctor Who novelisations and the only one to be involved in more than one book of this type. There is suggestion that they were to have written a story called Gallifrey for the cancelled Season 23 of Doctor Who featuring Colin Baker or the season that was to have followed it (still starring Colin Baker). This was prior to Doctor Who's hiatus. Very little solid information exists for this story and it is considered a hoax in some sources. -Special intro theme for Terror of the Vervoids. Philip "Pip-pip" Baker and Jane Baker (now deceased and yet somehow still a threat to the programme's future) were a husband-and-wife writing team professionally known as "Pip and Jane Baker" who are primarily known for their downright disastrous contributions to classic Doctor Who. They invented the Rani and were both related to Tom and Colin Baker despite what they tell us. They wrote only four stories for the show, yet they remain a deeply-felt scar on the fandom even today:

There is suggestion that they were to have written a story called Gallifrey for the cancelled Season 23 of Doctor Who featuring Colin Baker or the season that was to have followed it (still starring Colin Baker). This was prior to Doctor Who's hiatus. Very little solid information exists for this story and it is considered a hoax in some sources. Jane Baker died on 8 September 2014, survived by Pip. They wrote only four stories for the show, yet they remain a deeply-felt scar on the fandom even today: * The Mark of the Rani (1985) * Two The Trial of a Time Lord stories (parts 9–12 and 14): Terror of the Vervoids and The Ultimate Foe (1986) * Time and the Rani (1987)
