Nipper Plants also return in Mario & Luigi: Dream Team where they are fought in Dreamy Driftwood Shore. Nipper Plants only appear from Piranha Plants after they have spit them up and they only appear in the background. Nipper Plants mainly attack by spitting fireballs at Mario, which he can use his hammer to deflect them back at the Piranha Plants. Once the Piranha Plants are defeated, the Nipper Plants will vanish as well.
