The state of Dorvik developed as a conglomerate of states of the Kingdom of Dorvik which was a constituent state of the Dundorfian Empire. The original flag of the Dorvish state had been a white flag with two large black bars on top, it was originally the flag of the early Lorman tribes which the Dundorfian tribes eventually conquered. King Alois I (Alois von Eschenbach) granted the use of the eagle to the Grand Duchy of Miktar which would go on to be a leading state in the Dorvish Kingdom.
