The slide shot is a gun-firing technique. It is designed to let the robo slide behind cover right after firing its gun, and its purpose is to protect the robo. This technique also spreads the gun's rounds over a wider linear distance in contrast to shooting from a standstill where all rounds are released from a single point. Sliding from one side to another is recommended over sliding backward or forward, as the latter makes an easier target to hit. Even though all guns technically can be used with a slide shot, some guns such as the Afterburner Gun, Slide Gun and 3-Way Gun are obviously better candidates. If done correctly the slide shot can be countered with weapons like the V Laser Gun.
