Realm of Logres is a tabletop board game for 3 to 10 players by S. William Nesbitt II and published by Nesbitt File:Shop-ad.pngHobbies. Realm of Logres plays like a "Euro-game" because players cannot be eliminated from play. It plays like an RPG because players must collaborate and it doesn't hurt to have a good imagination. Realm of Logres plays like a traditional American game because at some point you'll want to smite the opponent. Players are gathered into two teams. One team seeks to usurp King Arthur. The other team protects Logres and King Arthur. Play occurs on a game board which represents an abstracted map of mythical England. Players are dealt characters which take Actions to advance the cause of their team. The Basic Game introduces the conflict between Arthur and Mordred as well as the use of Strategy and Tactics chips. The Magic Supplement adds Merlin and Morgana as well as the romance of Tristan and Isolde. The Quests Supplement adds the Excalibur Quest, the Grail Quest and general quests. The Deluxe Game and upcoming supplements will feature provisions and peasants, nobles and sieges.
