All living (and some undead) souls probably know the three most famous Farstriders of all time, the Windrunner sisters. Though they are perhaps the image all have of Farstriders, to just mention them does not do justice to the profession of Farstrider. The Farstriders have been of great importance in the skirmishes, and eventually, wars, with the Amani Trolls inhabiting Quel'thalas, and to this day the Farstriders still do their job of protecting the land from the savage Amani.

All living (and some undead) souls probably know the three most famous Farstriders of all time, the Windrunner sisters. Though they are perhaps the image all have of Farstriders, to just mention them does not do justice to the profession of Farstrider. The Farstriders are, at their core, the basis of the Quel'thalas armed forces. Serving as the home guard in their heavily forested homelands, a perhaps more conventional (for Humans) army is unsuited to the protection of the forests and so Quel'thalas employs those trained in woodcraft, marksmanship and survival for the defense of their home. Perhaps it stems from the origin of those inhabiting Quel'thalas, as the Kaldorei too employ armed forces skilled in woodcraft and survival. However it came to be, let it be known that the institute of the Farstriders has been around since the Founding of Quel'thalas. The Farstriders have been of great importance in the skirmishes, and eventually, wars, with the Amani Trolls inhabiting Quel'thalas, and to this day the Farstriders still do their job of protecting the land from the savage Amani.
