British Invalid Helmet Respirator
rdfs:comment
The Invalid Respirator is one of the more unusual devices that became available to the British public during WWII. [[File:|thumb|300px| April 5, 1941]]These were issued to people who had respiratory difficulties that limited them from wearing the standard civilian respirator. The pump made it easier for filtered air to get through to the wearer. The respirator was made by L & BR CO. As well as Avon The Invalid Respirator is quite scarce to find today, but one can turn up once in a while from UK military and auction sites.
