Kasuto, also known as Old Kasuto, is a location in Zelda II: The Adventure of Link. This town is located near the south coast of eastern Hyrule, just west of the Hidden Palace. The town is deserted save for a Wise Man. Many of the buildings are half-demolished, and the few that could still be entered are empty. The town is also swarmed with Moas, although it is never stated whether they drove the townspeople away or if they appeared after Kasuto was deserted. Kasuto is the only town in The Adventure of Link that does not share a name with a character in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Kasuto is a town in Hyrule in Zelda II: The Adventure of Link. Like in other towns in the game, there are citizens that give advice and heal Link. In Kasuto, the player can find a wizard that teaches Link the "Spell" spell. Unlike the other towns in the game, Kasuto was not reused as a name for a character (specifically a sage) in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The town is deserted save for a Wise Man. Many of the buildings are half-demolished, and the few that could still be entered are empty. The town is also swarmed with Moas, although it is never stated whether they drove the townspeople away or if they appeared after Kasuto was deserted. If Link visits the town without all of the Magic Containers, the Wise Man initially only tells him that the townsfolk have fled. If Link has them all, the Wise Man in Kasuto teaches him the Thunder Spell. Kasuto is the only town in The Adventure of Link that does not share a name with a character in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Kasuto is a town in Hyrule in Zelda II: The Adventure of Link.
