Humanism (Civ6)
rdfs:comment
Humanism, the concept that the human being and life in general should be the center of our moral universe, instead of some nebulous entity, is one of the stepping stones to modern philosophy, and the modern society as a whole. It encourages people to work and learn for their own improvement, rather than for that of their masters, and as such prepares the ground for the Age of Enlightenment.

You must not lose faith in humanity. Humanity is like an ocean; if a few drops of the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty. The four characteristics of humanism are curiosity, a free mind, belief in good taste, and belief in the human race.

n5:abstract
Humanism, the concept that the human being and life in general should be the center of our moral universe, instead of some nebulous entity, is one of the stepping stones to modern philosophy, and the modern society as a whole. It encourages people to work and learn for their own improvement, rather than for that of their masters, and as such prepares the ground for the Age of Enlightenment. Humanism enables two very important buildings - the Art Museum and the Archaeological Museum; which allow the continued cultural development of your nation. It also unlocks two very important Wildcard Policies for attracting Great Artists and Great Engineer. In a mostly symbolic gesture (since all Great Prophets have already been attracted at that point of the game), it also obsoletes the Revelation Policy - when the HUMAN takes center stage, the Prophet tends to become useless.
