Reid possesses extreme views, considering the extermination of the Jews by Hitler "a roaring success", and hating the Traditions with a passion. He particularly despises the Virtual Adepts, whom he labels traitors. Ruthless in his training methods to ensure his students will remain loyal Technocrats, Reid has been known to create "backup" clones with which to replace rebellious students. Among others, he recruited and trained Andrew Greene, Mary Beth and Rob.
