n5:abstract
Bryan was Dr. Winston Brown's apprentice/graduate student. He traveled with Brown to Iraq in 1999 in pursuit of the Sebel-al-Mafough Whash, which he eventually retrieved for Brown from the British Museum in London. Bryan refused to bring the tablets back to Iraq, however, until Brown explained why he wanted them--he was looking for an incantation that would help him kill his grandmother. Bryan is described as a competent mage approaching mastery of one of the Spheres, though he won't tell Brown which one. Brown sent him back to Boston as soon as he had the tablets, noting that Bryan will have plenty of time to meet gods later.
