Why make a rocket
rdfs:comment
People make rockets so they can use them. Or sometimes so they can learn more about gravity, propulsion and navigation. There are many different uses for rockets. One of the original uses was to deliver bomb to distant locations. Now rockets are used to take astronauts to outer space or to place satellites into orbit. Those satellites can perform many activities -- from relaying telephone conversations and broadcasting TV to serving as an infrastructure for GPS (Global Positioning Service).
