Gods grant me the senility to forget the people I never liked anyway. The good fortune to run into the ones I do, and the eyesight to tell the difference.
n35:abstract
Arik was once one of the most powerful of the Oneroi. He made it his mission to hunt down and destroy all Skoti he could find. Until one night when he happened into the dream of a delusional human while he was hunting the Skotos Solin. The bright colors and intense passion he felt converted him instantly. Unfortunately, that human died the next day. In the blink of an eye, he went from being a good guy to one of the worst Skoti out there. For thousands of years, he's walked the line of evil, trying to find another person who can give him that fleeting sensation again. He'll do anything to have those feelings. Anything to stop the vast nothingness that makes up his existence–even steal a human soul for bondage to Hades. He's extremely amoral–but then since he lacks all feeling that makes sense. A vicious predator, he is untamed and determined. And he's recently found a dreamer who has captured his notice... Arikos sold his and his human charge's souls to Hades in order to be with Geary. Arikos helped her receive permits in order to scope out the area where she believed Atlantis to reside. Arikos became a mortal once Geary led him out of the Underworld, when he was a Shade.
