Dyes in Fable III are available from three chests on the Road to Rule as "Dye Packs". Each chest has four colours, with another four released via DLC. This was released on 9th November 2010 as "Fable III Dye Pack" for 80 Microsoft Points. Once unlocked, they can be found in the clothing room of the Sanctuary, on a set of shelves on the right wall. They can be used to dye individual parts of an outfit, including the trim of most trousers and shirts, as well as hair and facial hair. All dyes can be altered with a slider scale, allowing you to fine tune exactly how light or dark you want your colour. Keep in mind that the area in which you dye your clothes is slightly lighter than most of the game, so everything will appear slightly darker during actual play than it does when you are choosing
