In 1943, RKO created a girl character called Little Anna. It was released as part of Whistletoons. Little Anna's first cartoon named "Steamboat Bobby", a parody of Walt Disney's Steamboat Willie released on November 1943. The character is similar from Little Lulu. Little Anna's first cartoon was originally produced in black-and-white. The rest are in Technicolor. In 1950, Little Anna won its own series. The series lasted until 1957.
