Eddie (Dog City)
rdfs:comment
Eddie, more formally referred to as "Eddie the Wet-nosed Newspup," is an animated character on Dog City. Garbed as a Dick Tracy-esque street urchin, Eddie greatly admires Ace Hart, and when not hawking papers, he tags along or assists on many of Ace's cases. Eddie was known to devour all manner of knowledge as well as arcane mythology and pop cultural slush. His catchphrase was "It's a well known fact..." preceding a barrage of information, which was often revealing but frequently obnoxious.

Eddie is in many ways the animated analogue to Eliot Shag's cheerful neighbor and admirer Artie Springer.
