Over There Over there
rdfs:comment
"Over There" is a 1917 song popular with United States soldiers in both world wars. It was written by George M. Cohan during World War I. Notable early recordings include versions by Nora Bayes, Enrico Caruso, Billy Murray, and Charles King. According to Michael Duffy of FirstWorldWar.com, "Cohan later recalled that the words and music to the song came to him while travelling by train from New Rochelle to New York shortly after the U.S. had declared war against Germany in April 1917." Any place that is not "Here". Over There is where Our Troops have to fight "Them" in romantic combat [1]. Over There is a horrible place, forsaken by The Baby Jesus. Names of places "Over There" usually begin with "Ir-" and/or end in "-istan". over there. across the hills, through the valley, into the tunnol, up the mountain, under the bridge, in the sadrf poewjfoijsfa f town. noooone knows where, it's just over there. if you lose your Youness, go over there. "Over There" was the first issue of the Blood & Trenches comic book mini-series.
