During the colonial era Feitorias were essential to the Portuguese in expanding their trade network between Europe, the Far East, and eventually the Americas. They afforded ships with limited range a safe port of call to refill depleted supplies and give their crews much needed rest." There is no limit to how many Feitorias a player can build other than the population limit. Players can still build one as long as they have at least one population headroom (queued units will count against this headroom). While it is not seemingly worth the population space, it is difficult to place a numeric value on the generation of gold and stone. The Feitoria is most suitable for the late game when resources become scarce, especially stone and gold. Players must be sure to place it in well defended areas in order to protect its slow trickle of resources.

n20:abstract
There is no limit to how many Feitorias a player can build other than the population limit. Feitorias can be converted, so Portuguese players must also be wary of enemy Monks. But the Portuguese can research Heresy, which prevents the Feitoria from being used by the enemy if it shall be converted. In case a player manages to convert a Feitoria, its population space of 20 will be imposed on the new owner. "The Feitoria is a Portuguese trading post. During the colonial era Feitorias were essential to the Portuguese in expanding their trade network between Europe, the Far East, and eventually the Americas. They afforded ships with limited range a safe port of call to refill depleted supplies and give their crews much needed rest." En comparación con la Casa de la Aduana, que el Feitoria sustituye, se añade un punto de el comercio en todos los agua mosaico.
