There were promises of change, expansion. He being young was eager to see the world. And joined the legion, he ran away from home just to do it. But as time went on the legion he a was apart of did nothing more the border patrol he became bored for years. His training withered, and his former physical appearance of a well trained soldier began to degrade. When the war with the Greeks started he was eager to finally see battle. The battle he witnessed was terrible, Aulus' army torn to pieces. The wounds he suffered didn't heal right making his left arm useless. He doesn't blame Gracchus for his attempts to end the war.
