Erollisi Marr teaches her followers that love conquers all. She, along with her twin brother Mithaniel, created the Barbarians during The Age of Monuments. It is believed that the evolution of Barbarians to Humans was sparked by the divine touch of Erollisi. While love is a beautiful thing, Erollisi's devotees are not so obtuse to believe a Norrath without war is possible. They are willing to enter battle themselves if it means defending the principles, people, and places they love. Followers of Erollisi believe the most honorable death would be earned defending someone or something they love deeply. A great number of Paladins entrust their hearts to the ideals of Erollisi Marr. An order of Clerics and Paladins devoted to Erollisi and Mithaniel once held political power in Freeport, but were driven out by the corrupt militia captain, Sir Lucan D'Lere. Erollisi still has many followers, both Human and Half Elf, in Freeport at the temple she shares with her brother. She even takes the Rogues that her brother eschews. Finally, Bardic troubadours devotedly sing her songs of love, even in Qeynos and Wood Elf Kelethin. This sister of Mithaniel and daughter of Tarew is allied with Fizzlethorpe Bristlebane, Mithaniel Marr, Rodcet Nife, Tunare, and Quellious. Her enemies are Innoruuk, Cazic-Thule, Rallos Zek, and Bertoxxulous. Followers of Erollisi Marr, the Queen Of Love, cling to the belief that love conquers all. It should be pointed out that while love is a generally peaceful concept, Erollisi worshippers are not pacifists. They would like to live in a world where everyone loves everyone else and violence does not exist but they are not naive enough to think that Norrath is that world. They are passionately devoted to people, places and ideas and are more than willing to fight and die to preserve those things. The dream of every follower of Erollisi is to die in the selfless defense of someone or something they love. Many paladins hear the true calling of their hearts and follow Erollisi Marr. With the release of the instance The Shard of Love it is found out at the end of the instance that the Gods of Fear, Hate, War and Disease have won a battle and killed Erollisi Marr by attacking The Planes of Valor. Her brother, Mithaniel, asked for her assistance in fending off the forces of evil. But in doing this, the four evil deities took the chance to attack and kill the God of Love. At the end of the Shard of Love, you fight Mithaniel Marr, The Sorrowful who is standing in a room with the body of his beloved sister in a coffin. He eventually snaps out of his trance of self pity and sadness after you fight him to 50% health and releases his sister from the world of Norrath, telling her to go find peace and love in another time and place. __FORCETOC__ The goddess of love and passion, Erollisi Marr is the daughter of Tarew Marr, the god of water, and the twin sister of Mithaniel Marr, the god of valor. She rules the Plane of Love, and is also known as the Queen of Love. Followers of Erollisi Marr believe that love conquers all. They fight to defend what they love and have a passionate, selfless approach to life. While worshippers of the Queen of Love are not fond of violence, they are realistic enough to acknowledge that Norrath is a dangerous place and that violent acts are sometimes necessary to protect that which they love. In keeping with that realization, worshippers of Erollisi see dying in the defense of that which they love to be the greatest good one can do in life. Erollisi Marr is partially responsible for the creation of the barbarians alongside her brother Mithaniel, and by extension humans and Erudites as well. The center of her worship on Norrath is the Temple of Marr in the human city of Freeport.
